Clicks is looking for a registered Pharmacist to join their Edgemead store in Goodwood. You will run the dispensary efficiently, dispense medication safely, and give excellent customer care. About the role
As a Pharmacist at Clicks Edgemead, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the dispensary and making sure customers get top quality pharmaceutical care. You will work closely with the clinic and healthcare aisle to offer a complete service to customers.
What you will do:
- Provide high standards of pharmaceutical care, including accurate dispensing and generic substitution
- Give advice to customers in line with Clicks way of working and good pharmacy practice
- Manage stock safely and responsibly, including shrinkage control and housekeeping
- Focus on dispensary and clinic targets to keep the pharmacy profitable
- Train and develop Pharmacist Assistants and Interns when needed
- Drive customer service initiatives and club card participation
- Build good relationships with centre managers, suppliers, and distribution centres
Requirements
- Registered Pharmacist with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC)
- Retail pharmacy experience
- Unisolve experience
- Knowledge of SAPC and relevant legal requirements
- Understanding of stock, cost, risk and compliance management
- Strong customer service and patient counselling skills
- Planning and organising skills

Responsibilities
- Provide pharmaceutical care, safe dispensing, generic substitution, and advice according to Clicks standards and SAPC regulations
- Execute dispensary operations including stock management, shrinkage control, housekeeping, and administration
- Focus on dispensary and clinic targets to ensure operational viability
- Oversee training and development of Pharmacist Assistants and Pharmacist Interns
- Implement customer service initiatives to improve customer experience and club card participation
- Build and maintain relationships with centre managers, suppliers, and DCs
- Ensure integration with the clinic and healthcare aisle for a full customer offering
