About the role
Belmar Personnel is recruiting on behalf of a specialist IT consulting company that needs experienced PeopleSoft professionals to support a higher education client. This is a 3 year fixed term contract based in Midrand, with a hybrid work arrangement and onsite attendance as required.
Several positions are available, covering functional consulting, technical consulting, integration, and data migration. You will work directly on PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and related systems, helping to keep critical student and academic processes running smoothly.

Hands on IT systems experience relevant to your chosen position is essential. You will need to work in a client support environment and collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Relevant hands on PeopleSoft experience of 4 to 8+ years, depending on the role
- For functional consultant roles: system configuration, testing, troubleshooting and application support experience
- For technical roles: development, infrastructure, integration or data skills as required by the specific position
- Ability to work in an IT consulting and client support environment
- Specific role requirements include PeopleSoft Campus Solutions experience, PeopleTools development (PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface), Oracle database and infrastructure administration, integration broker experience, and strong SQL and data migration skills
Responsibilities
- Provide application support and service delivery for PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, managing SLAs, incidents, escalations and client engagement (AMS Service Delivery Lead)
- Configure and support PeopleSoft Campus Solutions modules such as Student Financials, Financial Aid, Student Records, Admissions, Registration, Campus Self Service and Student Residence
- Translate business requirements into system solutions and resolve functional issues
- Develop and enhance PeopleSoft applications using PeopleCode, Application Engine and Component Interface
- Administer Oracle database, web and application servers, including monitoring, troubleshooting and performance support
- Design and monitor third party and API integrations using Integration Broker or similar middleware
- Support data extraction, transformation, loading, reconciliation and data quality for migration projects
- Coordinate technical teams and manage client expectations
