- Handle the parts department admin, including purchasing programmes, price comparisons, and weekly reports to the Branch Manager.
- Lead and develop your team by setting performance objectives, giving feedback, and finding training opportunities.
- Manage the department budget by tracking income, expenses, and profit margins, then putting corrective steps in place when needed.

Success Guide
This is a great role for someone who already knows the spare parts world and wants to step into management within agriculture. When you apply, your CV should clearly show how many years you have worked with parts, and if you have supervised or mentored a team, make that stand out. In an interview, expect questions about stock turnover, how you handle slow moving items, and how you build trust with the farmers. You might also be asked about budgeting or a time you solved a parts crisis during a busy season. Show your technical know how and your people skills. Keep copies of your matric certificate ready and make sure your credit record is clear, as a check will be done.
