You will sell financial products and short term insurance to warm leads, with a guaranteed monthly income plus uncapped commission. About the role
Grocorp is looking for driven sales agents to join their high performing BPO team on a local campaign. You will be making outbound calls to prospective clients, promoting and selling financial products and short term insurance. The role is based at their Westville, Durban office and is a permanent full time position.
This is a hands on sales role where you will be expected to close deals, build rapport with clients, and guide them through the full sales and sign up process. You will work with warm leads, which means you are not starting from scratch with cold calling every time. The company provides full training and ongoing support to help you succeed.
Important note: This role is for experienced outbound call centre sales consultants only. Applicants must have a proven track record in outbound telesales within a call centre environment. Retail, face to face, or customer service experience alone will not be considered.
Requirements
- Matric is essential
- 1 or more years of experience in any sales or call centre role
- Must reside in Durban
- Proven track record in outbound telesales within a call centre environment
- Strong communication and persuasion skills

Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to prospective clients
- Promote and sell financial products and short term insurance
- Identify customer needs and present suitable product options
