About the role
Recruitco is seeking qualified Occupational Health Nurse Practitioners to join their team on a locum or ad hoc basis. You will be deployed to ongoing ad hoc, relief, shutdown, project based and short notice assignments within industrial and manufacturing environments.
What the role involves:
- You will work independently while delivering occupational health services to client sites.
- Conducting medical surveillance programmes and occupational health assessments.
- Managing workplace health risks and treating occupational injuries and illnesses.
- Supporting employee wellness initiatives and primary healthcare consultations.
The ideal candidate must be comfortable accepting assignments at short notice and be available for day, project based or temporary placements.
Requirements
- Registered Professional Nurse with SANC
- Occupational Health Nursing qualification
- Minimum 4 years occupational health experience
- Experience conducting medical surveillance programmes
- Primary Healthcare experience
- Basic Life Support certification
- Experience managing injuries on duty and occupational illnesses
- Ability to work independently in industrial or high risk environments
Advantageous:
- Travel Clinic experience
- Dispensing Licence
- Mining, petrochemical, manufacturing, construction, energy or heavy industry experience
