About the role
RareCruit is looking for a newly qualified CA(SA) to join their client in Grand Baie, Mauritius. This is a high impact strategic support role where you will act as the right hand to the Group Managing Director, helping to drive operational leadership and business performance.
What you can expect to do:
- Support the Group Managing Director and Finance Director on key strategic initiatives
- Manage cross functional projects from start to finish
- Assist with financial reporting, tax filing and audit processes
- Prepare detailed financial and operational analyses for business insights
- Produce technical reports and presentations for senior leadership
- Track and report on strategic KPIs and growth metrics
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to gather data
- Identify opportunities to optimise operational and leadership processes

Requirements
- Newly qualified CA(SA)
- Strong academic background
- Strong financial and analytical capabilities
- Experience or exposure to project management is advantageous
- Exposure to financial reporting, tax or audit is advantageous
- Strong project management capabilities

Responsibilities
- Act as strategic support to the Group Managing Director and Finance Director on key initiatives
- Support cross functional projects from inception through to execution
- Assist with financial reporting, tax filing and audit processes
- Support compliance related requirements
- Prepare detailed financial and operational analyses to provide business performance insights
- Produce insightful technical reports and presentations for senior leadership
- Identify opportunities to optimise operational and leadership processes
- Track and report on strategic KPIs and growth metrics
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to gather data and drive accountability
- Support the Managing Director with ad hoc research, business cases and special projects
- Structure, plan and execute projects involving multiple stakeholders
