About the role
Titanium Talent is looking for a Mobile Test Automation Engineer to join their team in Johannesburg's Northern Suburbs on a fixed term, full time basis. This is a hands on role focused on building dependable automation frameworks and making sure automated mobile tests run smoothly within CI/CD pipelines.
You will work closely with developers, QA and DevOps team members to keep test suites stable and reliable, troubleshoot execution issues and improve how mobile applications are validated before release.

Requirements
- Experience building mobile test automation frameworks with Appium and UiAutomator2
- Strong Java skills
- Hands on experience with TestNG
- Experience with Jenkins for continuous integration and test execution
- API validation experience using REST Assured
- Knowledge of IMAP for email validation testing
- Understanding of the Page Object Model
Responsibilities
- Develop IMAP based email validation for automated OTP and notification testing
- Build and maintain Appium and UiAutomator2 tests with reusable page objects
- Resolve stale element failures and improve element lookup, synchronisation and test stability
- Configure Appium 3.x for Jenkins execution, including troubleshooting port conflicts and session initialisation
- Integrate TestNG suites into CI pipelines for unattended mobile testing
- Validate APIs and backend responses using REST Assured
