About the role
As part of the Poultry MIS team, you will be the go-to person for centralised master data across the business. Your day to day involves maintaining and governing master data records, standardising data structures and naming conventions, and running regular data cleansing and integrity checks. You will perform monthly reviews, audits and reconciliations to ensure data is complete, consistent and compliant, and you will monitor data quality, investigate exceptions, and drive corrective actions.
You will also enforce master data controls and approval workflows, align and standardise MIS master data standard operating procedures, and act as a liaison between business and MIS teams. Supporting system implementations and upgrades from a master data perspective, and resolving master data related queries via the service desk, will also be part of your work.
Please note: This is a festive season, fixed term, part time role within the Poultry Industry or FMCG environment, with advantage given to those with relevant industry experience.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Information Systems, Finance, or a related field
- Experience in a Master Data, Data Quality, Data Governance, or similar data administration role
- Experience working with ERP systems and large data sets
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong understanding of master data management, data quality, and governance principles
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
- High attention to detail with a structured, process driven approach
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work across departments and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Availability to provide support outside normal business hours when required
