About the role
This is a full time opportunity based in Krugersdorp for a Mine Assistant Manager who will give general support to the Manager of Spares and Services. The role sits at the centre of a busy workshop and supply operation where accuracy, coordination and technical understanding matter every day.
You will take responsibility for the execution, coordination, administration and control of equipment refurbishments, vibrator motor repairs, vibrator motor enhancements and variations, geared exciter repairs and motor drive assemblies. You will also keep collections and deliveries of repair items in sync with the freight contractors and expedite production on all active manufactured spare components. When the internal sales team needs technical backup, you will be the person they lean on for support and answers.
