Success Guide

Getting into retail with a big brand like Dis-Chem is a smart move. For this Merchandiser role, your attitude and reliability matter as much as experience. When you apply, highlight any customer service or stock handling you have done, even if it was short term or volunteer work. Make sure your CV clearly shows your matric certificate and that you are available to work retail hours including weekends. In an interview, be ready to talk about how you stay organised and how you would handle a customer looking for a product that is out of stock. Show that you are physically fit for lifting boxes and that you understand the importance of keeping shelves neat and products in date. Good luck!
