Success Guide
Applying for a specialist post at a provincial hospital is a big step, and it helps to be thorough. Make sure your Z83 is completely filled in and signed, even if you attach a CV, and write the reference MPDoH/Oct/26/1670 clearly on your application. Your CV should highlight your HPCSA registration as a Medical Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, your years of experience after registration, and any leadership or teaching roles you have held. Since shortlisted candidates may be asked for certified documents before the interview, get your qualifications and registration certificates certified early. The department values representivity, so feel free to indicate if you have a disability. If you do not hear back within 90 days of the closing date, treat your application as unsuccessful and keep applying. Good luck.
