Success Guide
This role is all about keeping a confectionery factory running, so your CV should show real examples of machinery you have maintained or fixed. Think bearings, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes and breakdowns you have handled under pressure.
If you have a trade test or artisan qualification, make sure it is front and centre on your application. In an interview for this kind of position, expect questions about fault finding, safety procedures and how you prioritise breakdowns when production is waiting.
Be ready to talk about preventative maintenance you have done and any improvements you suggested that saved time or reduced downtime. That practical problem solving mindset is exactly what they are looking for.
