About the role
Our client, a well established procurement and logistics specialist with over two decades of operational stability, is seeking a Marketing & Technology Support Coordinator to be based at their operations in Durban. This is a hybrid role where marketing is the primary focus and technical capability is a crucial secondary skill.
You will provide front line marketing support while managing and maintaining the digital systems that underpin the company's operations. The successful candidate will work in a fast paced environment with strong governance, digital transformation initiatives and continuous improvement.
Key duties include:
- Creating, editing and publishing marketing content such as copywriting, social media posts and simple graphics
- Assisting with digital marketing campaigns and brand communication
- Managing and updating website content
- Coordinating marketing materials, brochures and client facing documents
- Supporting lead generation activities and CRM based workflows
- Assisting with basic analytics and reporting
- Managing and maintaining CRM systems
- Troubleshooting basic technical issues and workflow errors
- Supporting automation tools and digital workflows
- Assisting with data management, imports and exports
- Providing first line tech support to the team
Requirements
- Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, IT or similar
- 1 to 3 years experience in a marketing and technology hybrid role (advantageous)
- Strong communication and writing ability
- Basic design skills using Canva or similar
- Good general IT literacy
- Ability to update and maintain website content using WordPress, Wix or similar
- Comfortable working with CRM systems such as HubSpot, Zoho or Pipedrive
- Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues like email setups, integrations and workflow errors
- Experience with automation tools, integrations or workflow systems (advantageous)
- Strong data management skills including imports, exports and clean ups
- Basic content creation and copywriting skills
- Social media posting and digital marketing support experience
- Understanding of digital marketing principles
Responsibilities
