What you will do:
- Lead identity management and data engineering solutions
- Design and implement scalable, secure APIs and back-end systems
- Collaborate with architects on solution architecture
- Deliver strategic projects on time and within budget
- Mentor junior developers and promote knowledge sharing
- Contribute to Agile delivery and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma with 6+ years relevant experience, or 8+ years industry experience
- Strong experience in C#, .NET Core, SQL Server, Identity management solutions, REST API development, Entity Framework 6 / Entity Framework Core
- Experience with scalable, high-performance APIs
- Strong SQL Server skills including relational database design, complex queries, views and stored procedures
- Experience in SCRUM / Agile environments
- Understanding of clean coding principles and source code management
- Advantageous: IIS configuration, Azure DevOps, Microservices / SOA architecture, SOLID, KISS, TDD, DDD, Clean Coding principles, OData, Unit Testing frameworks, RabbitMQ and SignalR, Postman and Swagger, FIDO configuration, Azure Function Apps and Cosmos DB
- Soft skills: leadership, collaboration, attention to detail, communication, mentoring, organised
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership across identity management and data engineering solutions
- Design and implement scalable, secure, high-performance APIs and back-end systems
- Define solution architecture and technical implementations with architects and engineering leaders
- Deliver strategic projects within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Maintain and enhance existing systems while supporting migrations to newer technologies
- Ensure adherence to development standards, coding best practices, and testing methodologies
- Mentor and coach junior developers and facilitate knowledge sharing
- Contribute to Agile delivery processes and continuous improvement initiatives
