Success Guide

Hi there! If you are a young South African with a passion for telecoms, this remote Junior VoIP Engineer role could be your big break. Datafin is a well known recruiter, so make sure your CV clearly shows your understanding of SIP, SIP trunking and networking basics like TCP/IP and VLANs. Even if you have not worked in a NOC before, highlight any hands on experience with VoIP platforms or packet capture tools like Wireshark. In the interview, they will likely test your troubleshooting approach, so be ready to explain how you would isolate a call quality issue step by step. Remember to attach your Matric certificate and any IT or telecoms qualifications. This is a fully remote role, so you will need a reliable internet connection and a quiet space to work. Good luck!
