Requirements
- Diploma, Advanced Diploma, BTech, BEng, or BSc Engineering qualification in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, Instrumentation, or a related discipline.
- Strong technical aptitude and an interest in industrial automation, sensors, and precision engineering.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence to engage with engineers and other technical professionals.
- Self-motivated, inquisitive, and eager to develop specialist expertise.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Previous experience in industrial automation, instrumentation, or technical sales will be advantageous but is not essential.
Responsibilities
- Consult with engineers, technical specialists, and industrial clients to understand their application requirements.
- Recommend specialised products and engineering solutions for industrial machinery and automated processes.
- Work with precision measurement equipment, encoders, position sensors, and related automation technologies.
- Provide technical product advice and application support.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing customers while identifying new business opportunities.
- Prepare technical quotations and assist with product selection.
- Conduct client visits, technical discussions, and product presentations.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of specialised international engineering products.
