Success Guide

You will need a solid mechanical engineering qualification and some hands-on design experience to stand out here. This role is perfect if you have recently graduated or have up to three years in product design and development.

When you apply, make sure your CV clearly shows your CAD and SolidWorks skills, any exposure to manufacturing processes, and projects where you took a product from concept to testing. If you have worked with FMEA or quality standards like ISO 9001 or ISO 17025, mention it.

Interviews will likely focus on your problem solving approach, teamwork and how you handle design challenges. Be ready to talk through a project you worked on and what you learned from it.
