About the role
As a Junior Developer at Navertica SA, you will be part of a team that helps customers streamline their business processes using Microsoft Dynamics 365. You will work closely with senior developers and consultants to understand what clients need and turn those needs into technical solutions.
Your day to day work will involve developing, customising, and configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications. This includes building custom entities, workflows, plugins, and integrations. You will also test and debug solutions to make sure they work well and perform as expected. You will take part in code reviews, both giving and receiving feedback to keep code quality high. Staying up to date with the latest trends and best practices in Dynamics 365 development is important, and you will be encouraged to suggest new ideas that can improve what the team offers.
This role is based at the Navertica SA office in Bryanston, Sandton. It is a permanent, full time position with opportunities for learning and career growth in a company that has been operating for over 30 years and works across South Africa, Europe, and the USA.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies
- Experience with Azure DevOps or similar version control and issue tracking systems is a plus
- Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools
Responsibilities
- Work with senior developers and consultants to understand client requirements and translate them into technical solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Develop, customise, and configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications, including custom entities, workflows, plugins, and integrations
- Perform testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions to ensure quality and performance
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and maintainability
- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in Microsoft Dynamics 365 development and recommend innovative solutions
