  • Own reliable vehicle
  • Willingness to travel regionally
  • Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Success Guide

Hi there! This Junior Field Service Technician role is a fantastic opportunity if you enjoy hands-on technical work and being out in the field. You will be based in Somerset West but travel across Cape Town and regional hubs, so having your own reliable vehicle and a valid driver's licence is non-negotiable.

When you apply, make sure your CV highlights any electrical or electronic experience, even if it was just 6 months of practical work or a learnership. Also mention your customer service skills because you will deal directly with clients. If you have a formal electrical qualification, definitely include that.

For the interview, be ready to talk about how you troubleshoot equipment and handle difficult clients. They will also want to know that you are comfortable with after-hours standby duties. Good luck, you have got this!
