Success Guide

This is a solid entry level ESG role at a major South African retailer, so your application should show that you understand both sustainability and business. Highlight any coursework or projects where you worked with environmental or social data, and mention specific tools you have used, especially Excel and Power BI if you have them. In an interview, be ready to explain how ESG connects to a retail and pharmacy business, and give examples of how you have researched or tracked sustainability issues. Make sure your CV clearly shows your degree and your 1 to 2 years of relevant experience, as these are non negotiable for this role. Also have your driver's licence and clear credit and criminal records ready, as Dis-Chem will check these. Good luck!
