Success Guide
This is a solid opportunity if you have just completed your electrical trade test and are looking for hands on experience in a production environment. The packhouse setting means you will deal with refrigeration and PLC controlled equipment, so brush up on your fault finding skills and be ready to talk about how you handle pressure during peak season.
When you apply, make sure your CV clearly shows your trade test date, your Wireman's licence and any exposure to PLCs or cold storage equipment. Even if you have limited experience, highlight any practical work done during your apprenticeship. The employer values reliability and a willingness to work overtime and standby, so mention that you are flexible.
