About the role
As a Jewellery Sales and Design Advisor at TFG, you will be the friendly face that helps customers celebrate life's special moments. You will work with top jewellery brands like American Swiss, Sterns and Galaxy & Co at Menlyn Park in Pretoria.
Your day to day will include:
- Welcoming customers and helping them choose jewellery that fits their style and budget
- Holding consultations for custom designs, repairs and special orders
- Explaining gemstone details, precious metals and care instructions
- Processing sales, lay bys and after sales service accurately
- Keeping displays looking beautiful and on brand
- Building relationships that bring customers back

Requirements
- Grade 12 or National Senior Certificate
- 2 years experience in jewellery retail, luxury retail, fashion retail, customer service or sales
- Certificate or Diploma in Jewellery Design, Retail Management, Fashion, Design or Sales is advantageous
- Jewellery product knowledge or gemology courses are advantageous
- Experience with high value products and personalised consultations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Sales techniques and upselling ability
- Customer relationship management skills
- Visual merchandising and product presentation skills
- Point of sale operations knowledge
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service for jewellery selections, purchases and after sales enquiries
- Conduct consultations to understand customer preferences, budgets and occasion needs
- Recommend jewellery and custom design solutions based on trends and requirements
- Explain product features, gemstones, metals, warranties and care instructions
- Process sales, lay bys, repairs, special orders and custom design requests
- Build customer relationships to encourage repeat business and loyalty
- Maintain jewellery displays according to visual merchandising standards
- Keep accurate records of orders, repairs, alterations and bespoke requests
- Liaise with jewellers, suppliers and service providers for custom designs and deliveries
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to store profitability
