About the role
Network IT is looking for a dynamic IT Systems and Project Manager to take charge of the team responsible for delivering key IT projects, maintaining core business systems, and supporting the wider business. What the role involves:
- Leading end to end delivery of IT projects including applications, system upgrades, software development, and implementations
- Developing project scopes, plans, budgets, and resource allocations while tracking progress, risks, and milestones
- Coordinating internal IT and business teams plus third party vendors
- Building and maintaining integrations between internal systems and third party platforms using APIs and middleware
- Managing and mentoring a multidisciplinary team of system administrators, support staff, and developers
- Overseeing business critical systems such as ERP, SharePoint, WMS, and POS
- Developing and enforcing IT policies, procedures, and compliance standards
- Gathering software requirements and contributing to architecture decisions

Requirements
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent hands on experience and certifications
- IT Management and Administration experience
- Business Administration (MBA) would be advantageous
- Project Management experience
- 5 to 10 years of total experience in IT roles
- 3 to 5 years of experience leading IT projects (systems or applications)
- Proven ability to manage full project life cycles from planning to close out
- Experience with enterprise systems (ERP, WMS, POS)
Responsibilities
- Evaluate software according to business needs
- Lead and manage end to end delivery of IT projects including applications, system upgrades, software development, and system implementations
- Develop project scopes, plans, budgets, and resource allocations
- Track and report on progress, risks, and milestones
- Coordinate internal IT and business teams and third party vendors for implementation
- Develop and maintain integrations between internal business systems and third party platforms using APIs, middleware, and other integration tools
- Ensure data consistency and synchronization across multiple systems and platforms
- Design and implement automated workflows and data exchange processes between applications
- Develop and maintain the IT department budget
- Manage, mentor, train, and develop a multidisciplinary IT systems team of system admins, support staff, and developers
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Conduct performance reviews and oversee team workload balancing
- Oversee the administration and performance of business critical systems including ERP, SharePoint, WMS, and POS
- Coordinate upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management of business systems and applications
- Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and compliance standards for all business systems and applications
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure IT systems support business needs
- Provide escalation support for complex incidents or service disruptions
- Gather and understand software requirements from business divisions
- Contribute to software architecture decisions and design documentation
- Implement integrations with third party service providers
