About the role
As an IT Solutions Specialist, you will be the bridge between technology and business for clients across various industries. You will engage with an existing client base, conduct site assessments, and design tailored IT solutions that improve efficiency and strengthen cybersecurity.
What you will be doing:
- Meet with clients to understand their IT infrastructure, cloud, and security needs.
- Conduct site assessments and solution discovery sessions.
- Design and recommend solutions across managed IT services, networking, Microsoft 365, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity.
- Prepare proposals, solution designs, and costings.
- Deliver professional presentations and support the sales team to close deals.
- Grow managed services revenue through strategic client engagement.
- Manage and develop relationships within an existing Port Elizabeth client portfolio.

Requirements
- Relevant IT qualification or certification.
- Experience in IT pre sales, managed services, IT sales, or a similar solutions focused environment.
- Strong understanding of networking, including routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, server technologies, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
- Experience with cloud and security solutions is advantageous.
- Exposure to technologies such as Sophos, MikroTik, Reyee, or Ruijie is beneficial.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear business benefits.
- Self motivated with a consultative approach to client engagement.
- Valid driver's licence and own transport.
