Success Guide
This is a specialist role at the South African Reserve Bank, so your application should speak directly to IT controls, risk and compliance work rather than general IT support. Highlight your hands on experience with control frameworks, Control Self-Assessments and IT general controls, and name the specific auditing, risk or information security certification you hold. Before you apply, read the full advert on the SARB careers portal and make sure your degree and certification details are easy to find on your CV. In an interview, expect questions about how you assess control effectiveness, how you work with process owners to fix gaps, and how you report risk to management. The SARB values diversity, so candidates from designated groups and people with disabilities are encouraged to apply. Take your time with the online form and double check that every field is complete before you submit.
