Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Previous experience in internal sales, technical sales, stock control or a similar role
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and email
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work well in a team
- A hands-on attitude and willingness to assist with different responsibilities
- Technical product knowledge or experience in a technical environment will be an advantage
Responsibilities
- Handle internal technical sales enquiries and assist customers with product information
- Prepare quotations, process orders and follow up on customer enquiries
- Receive, capture and process incoming orders
- Assist with stock control, stock takes and inventory management
- Receive and check incoming stock against delivery notes and orders
- Ensure stock is stored correctly and records are kept up to date
- Assist with picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch when required
- Liaise with customers, suppliers and internal departments regarding orders and deliveries
- Provide general administrative and operational support
- Assist with daily tasks as required to support the smooth running of the business
