Abear Industrial, a growing rubber mining wear parts manufacturer in Sebenza, Edenvale, is looking for an Internal Sales Representative with experience in industrial products. You will build strong customer relationships, handle business to business sales, do cold calling, prepare quotations, and use your admin and social media skills. This is a permanent full time role for someone energetic, self motivated and ready to work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment on the East Rand.

Abear Industrial is a well established and fast growing manufacturer of rubber mining wear parts, based in Sebenza on the East Rand in Gauteng. They are looking for an Internal Sales Representative to join their team in a permanent, full time capacity. This role is suited to someone who thrives in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment and has a passion for industrial sales.
What you will do:
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Handle business to business sales and generate leads
- Do outbound sales cold calling
- Perform technical calculations and draw up quotations
- Manage administration and use software packages like Excel, Word and email
- Assist with stock counts
- Use social media to search for opportunities and post relevant content

Requirements
- A marketing qualification is compulsory
- A polymer science or rubber technology qualification would be advantageous
- Experience in selling industrial products
- Knowledge of bulk material handling products
- Understanding of rubber technology is a distinct advantage
- Excellent administration skills
- Proficiency in Excel, Word and email
- Superior verbal and written presentation skills in English, with other South African languages an advantage
- Strong negotiation skills and techniques
- Ability to do technical calculations and draw up quotations
- Ability to undertake outbound sales cold calling
- Good knowledge of relevant social media and the ability to search and post
- High energy, self motivated, confident and ambitious
- Strong work ethic and ability to take initiative
