- Build and manage stakeholder relationships that support reliable decision making and appropriate data use.
Application note: Applications must be submitted through the SARB's official career portal. The bank uses its own system, so make sure you complete the application there rather than applying through a third party site.

Success Guide
Applying to the Reserve Bank is a bit different from your average job board. You will need to create a profile on the SARB's Oracle recruitment portal and submit your application there, so set aside some time to complete it properly rather than rushing.
For this role, your CV should clearly show the number of years you have worked in data management and the specific governance or security projects you have touched. If you have a CDMP Associate certification or similar, mention it early. In interviews, expect questions that test how you would assess maturity levels, build governance frameworks, and bring different stakeholders on board. The SARB values people who can translate technical governance concepts into everyday business language, so have a few examples ready that show how you have done that before.
