HR Manager for Security Operations in Centurion
Elchemie · Centurion, Gauteng
Overview
Elchemie is looking for an energetic HR Manager to lead the people function for a security company in Centurion. You will manage recruitment, payroll admin, performance reviews, and NBCPSS compliance while working closely with the Group IR team. It is a hands on role for someone with 3 to 5 years of HR management experience who enjoys a fast paced, high headcount environment. Salary is R45 000 to R50 000 per month plus provident fund.
About the role
This role puts you at the centre of HR operations for a growing security services provider based in Centurion. You will report to executive leadership and partner with the Divisional Head to make sure HR supports business expansion, site mobilisation and day to day operational targets.
You will be the go to person for line managers on HR policy, disciplinary matters and compliance. A big part of your week will involve making sure site contracts, rosters, overtime and working conditions line up with the NBCPSS Main Collective Agreement. You will also work closely with the Group Industrial Relations team, handling preliminary investigations and escalating formal disputes when needed.
On the talent side, you will run end to end recruitment for admin, supervisory and operational roles, including vetting, PSIRA verification and site level onboarding. You will also drive performance appraisals, coordinate training and skills development with SASSETA, and make sure payroll submissions, deductions, shift allowances and PSSPF benefits are accurate and on time.
Expect regular travel between operational sites across Gauteng, so a valid driver's licence and own vehicle are essential.
Application note: Please complete your application in full when applying. If you do not hear back within 3 months, consider your application unsuccessful, but the recruiter may keep you in mind for future roles.

In the interview, expect questions about how you handle disciplinary matters and what you know about the Private Security Sector Provident Fund.
