Success Guide
This is a great chance to get your foot in the door at a Cape Town hotel that is actively working toward a luxury standard, so take the OPERA PMS requirement seriously. Before you apply, make sure your CV clearly shows your front office or reception experience and names OPERA PMS directly, because the hotel has flagged it as essential.
In your interview, be ready to talk through how you handle a busy desk, difficult guests and shift work. A short example of a time you solved a guest problem will go a long way. Also double check that your CV is fully updated before you submit, since the listing specifically asks for that.
