About the role
As a Health Zone Consultant at Unicare 24 Hour Pharmacy in Parklands, you will be the go-to person for customers seeking advice on healthcare, nutrition, supplements and natural remedies. You will report to the Assistant Floor Manager and work closely with pharmacists and retail staff to deliver top-tier service.
What you will do:
- Engage with customers on the floor and provide knowledgeable advice on health and supplements.
- Consult with customers on healthcare, nutrition, herbal remedies and homeopathic options.
- Promote a wide range of brands through cross selling and upselling to meet sales targets.
- Recommend products tailored to individual customer needs and health concerns.
- Keep healthcare aisles stocked, manage stock rotation and prevent wastage.
- Follow risk management policies to prevent stock losses.
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in the store to create an appealing shopping environment.
- Assist with product merchandising according to guidelines.
- Adhere to store standard operating procedures and share product knowledge with relief staff.
- Work collaboratively with pharmacists and retail staff to ensure excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Qualification in Natural Health, Naturopathy, Nutrition, or similar
- Minimum 2 to 3 years experience in a complementary health or wellness role (retail experience advantageous)
- Strong product knowledge of supplements, herbal and natural remedies
- Basic health, fitness and supplements product knowledge
- Basic understanding of retail store operations (stock management, merchandising, risk management)

- Prevent wastage in own area by adhering to stock rotation principles.
