About the role
Network Finance is recruiting on behalf of a client for an experienced Head of Finance and Controlling to take charge of the financial and controlling function for a dynamic business unit in Centurion. This is a high impact leadership position where you will blend strategic financial insight with hands on operational expertise.
In this role you can expect to work closely with internal teams and business partners, overseeing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, IFRS compliance, revenue recognition, project financial compliance, long term contract accounting, manufacturing finance, cost accounting, cash flow forecasting, working capital management, commercial finance, profitability analysis, bid costing, contract review, and financial risk management. You will also be responsible for internal financial controls and audit management, working within SAP ERP and using advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modelling tools.

Requirements
- BCom Degree in Accounting, Finance or an equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 10 years experience in a finance role
- Strong knowledge and practical application of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Experience with financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
- Financial reporting and management accounting skills
- Knowledge of revenue recognition and project financial compliance
- Long term contract and project accounting experience
- Manufacturing finance and cost accounting experience
- Cash flow forecasting and working capital management abilities
- Commercial finance, business partnering and profitability analysis experience
- Bid costing, contract review and financial risk management skills
- Internal financial controls and audit management experience
- SAP ERP Financial Management proficiency
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modelling skills
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic financial insight
Responsibilities
