About the role
This role is with an established and growing financial organisation that is looking for a technically strong Group Financial Accountant to join its finance team. You will apply your audit foundation in a commercial setting while gaining exposure to group level financial reporting and the fintech and financial services sectors.
Key duties include:
- Prepare and review group financial reporting information
- Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual financial results
- Support group consolidations and reporting processes
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, including US GAAP
- Analyse financial information and investigate variances
- Assist with audit processes and liaise with external auditors
- Support the maintenance of strong financial controls and reporting procedures

Requirements
- CA(SA) qualification is non negotiable
- Newly qualified to 2 years post articles experience
- Big 4 audit experience highly advantageous
- Exposure to large audit clients and complex financial environments
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge
- Working knowledge of US GAAP
- Excellent academic track record
