About the role
Our client is seeking an experienced Google Go Developer to join their team in a hybrid role based in Stellenbosch or Cape Town. This opportunity is suited to an Intermediate or Senior developer who is available to start as soon as possible and is looking to contribute to the development of robust, scalable software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain and enhance applications using Go.
- Design and implement reliable, scalable software solutions.
- Collaborate with developers and technical stakeholders to deliver quality solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug and optimise existing applications.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to development best practices.
- Work effectively within an Agile development environment.

Requirements
- Proven professional experience developing with Go (Golang).
- Strong software development and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with APIs, backend systems and modern development practices.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable and well-tested code.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Intermediate to Senior-level experience will be considered.
- Candidates must be able to work in a hybrid environment in Stellenbosch or Cape Town.
- Availability to start as soon as possible would be advantageous.
