Express Employment Professionals in Midrand is looking for an experienced Generalist Recruitment Specialist to join their team in Pretoria East. You will run the full recruitment cycle across many industries, from sourcing and interviewing to placing candidates and growing client relationships. About the role
As a Generalist Recruitment Specialist, you will manage the entire recruitment journey for a wide range of permanent and temporary roles across sectors like HR, finance, IT, engineering and sales. Your day to day will involve briefing with clients, sourcing and screening candidates, conducting competency based interviews and guiding the offer and onboarding process. You will also build strong relationships with both clients and candidates, maintain accurate records on the applicant tracking system, and ensure everything stays compliant with labour legislation and POPIA.
It does not stop at filling vacancies. You will also be expected to identify new business opportunities, grow existing client accounts through excellent service, and provide useful market intelligence and salary benchmarking advice. This is a varied role where you will be constantly engaging with people and working towards placement, revenue and client satisfaction targets.
Requirements
- Matric or Grade 12 with a completed qualification in Human Resource Management
- 5 to 10 years of recruitment experience in a full cycle environment covering both temporary and permanent placements at all levels
- Hands on experience managing the full process from sourcing to onboarding
- Experience using recruitment systems, applicant tracking tools, job boards, LinkedIn, Pnet, Placement Partner or similar
- Excellent interviewing and candidate assessment skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
- Valid South African driver's licence and own reliable transport
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel
- Ability to work in a fast paced, target driven environment
