Success Guide
This role is all about how well you connect with people and your ability to sell a lifestyle, not just a couch. When you apply, highlight any retail sales experience where you had targets, bonus structures, or commission. Talk about products you have sold that required explaining features and benefits, even if it was not furniture. @Home Livingspace sells premium homeware, so an eye for style and a passion for interior décor will help you stand out.
In the interview, expect questions about how you handle a customer who is just browsing, how you turn a maybe into a yes, and how you stay motivated when targets are tough. Be ready to give real examples. If you do not have furniture experience, show that you can learn product knowledge fast and that you are comfortable with weekend and evening shifts. Good luck!
