Success Guide

This is a senior role at the Financial Intelligence Centre, so your application needs to show more than just accounting skills. Highlight your experience with forensic investigations, anti money laundering and any work you have done with law enforcement agencies or the POCA and FIC Act. If you have managed a team before, make sure that comes through clearly, because this role is just as much about leading people as it is about forensic accounting. In your CV, focus on the types of financial crime cases you have worked on and the outcomes you helped achieve. If you get an interview, expect questions about how you handle complex investigations, how you work with government stakeholders, and how you keep your team motivated under pressure. Pretoria based roles at the FIC can be competitive, so tailor your application carefully to show why you are the right leader for this specialised team.
