Overview
The Foschini Group is looking for a Floor Supervisor to lead the @home store team in Sandton. If you have at least 3 years of retail experience including 1 year in store leadership, this full time role lets you drive sales, motivate your team and deliver great customer service for a well known homeware brand.
About the role
As a Floor Supervisor at @home in Sandton, you will support the store management team and help lead the store team to deliver excellent customer service and strong operational results. You will be part of a purpose led retail group that values growth and innovation.
Your day to day work will include:
- Motivating the team and keeping energy high on the shop floor
- Making sure daily operations run smoothly with a customer first mindset
- Helping to manage merchandise and visual displays
- Driving store KPIs such as turnover, rewards, new accounts and visual standards
- Handling multiple tasks and prioritising effectively in a busy environment
Preference will be given, but not limited to, candidates from designated groups in terms of the Employment Equity Act.
Requirements
- A Matric certificate
- Minimum 3 years retail experience
- Minimum 1 year store leadership experience
- High flexibility and ability to adapt to different customers and situations
- A high sense of urgency and ability to work independently
- Outstanding leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- High level of attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills
