Join a cloud focused team in Cape Town as a FinOps Coordinator on a 12 month hybrid contract. You will coordinate FinOps processes, governance activities and reporting to support cloud cost visibility, accountability and continuous improvement. Ideal for someone with 3 to 5 years in PMO, IT governance or IT finance admin who enjoys organising stakeholders and keeping accurate records.
About the role
As a FinOps Coordinator, you will be at the centre of cloud cost management for a cloud focused team. You will coordinate FinOps processes, run governance activities and produce reporting that helps the business understand and control cloud spend.
Day to day, you will track actions, maintain accurate governance records and work with stakeholders to support cost visibility and accountability. You will also help drive continuous improvement in how cloud costs are monitored and reported.

- 3 to 5 years experience in practice coordination, PMO, IT governance, IT finance administration, service management or a similar operational role
- Working knowledge of AWS cost management, including Cost Explorer, budgets, cost anomaly alerts, tagging and QuickSight reporting
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, invoice reconciliation, cost allocation and benefits tracking
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools
- Strong governance, documentation and stakeholder coordination skills
- Strong organisational skills and financial reporting knowledge
