Overview
A market leader with over 60 years in the industry is looking for a Financial Manager to join their Centurion team. You will consolidate 26 branches, handle intercompany transactions and forex, and lead a team of 5. This is a one year contract with a strong chance of becoming permanent within five months. If you are a CASA or BCom Hons graduate with consolidation experience, this is a great opportunity to grow with a stable international group.
About the role
This role is a contracting position because the current financial manager is acting as financial director and is due for promotion. Within five months, you are likely to hold a secure permanent role. The company has been operating for over 60 years and is a market leader with more than 26 branches across South Africa and in Africa and Mauritius. You will be part of a larger international group.
Your main focus will be the consolidation of the 26 branches. You need to understand intercompany transactions and forex. You will not be required to travel. A team of 5 will report to you, as well as accountants from the various branches. The group is growing and staff turnover is extremely low.
