About the role
As the Financial Manager at ATKV Eiland Spa, you will be responsible for the full financial function of the resort. Your day to day will involve compiling monthly financial reports, managing budgets, overseeing cash flow, and ensuring compliance with VAT and internal controls. You will also liaise with external auditors, manage the fixed asset register, and lead the financial team.
This role is based at the resort in Limpopo and is a permanent, full time position. The package is market related.
Requirements
- Completed articles
- Registered with SAIPA or SAICA
- Five years of relevant experience in a financial head office environment
- Computer literate with specific knowledge of Pastel Partner, Sage Intacct, VIP 300 People Payroll Management, INNkeeper, and the Microsoft product suite
- Excellent administrative skills
Responsibilities
- Compile and review monthly financial information, including income statements, financial statements, and cash flow statements
- Assist with short term and long term financial planning, including annual operating projections and long term financial strategy
- Prepare and consolidate annual budgets
- Maintain the fixed asset register and manage capital expenditure requirements
- Monitor daily bank balances for treasury management
- Ensure accurate accounting for VAT
- Manage internal audit and risk management processes, including testing compliance and providing training
- Liaise with external auditors and implement corrective actions
- Report occupancy levels and provide input on revenue objectives
- Manage and develop the resort's financial staff
- Perform duties as service manager and other ad hoc tasks as assigned
