About the role
AVBOB is looking for a Financial Associate to join the Insurance Sales Team at the Malmesbury Life Office. You will work for a company over 100 years old with strong customer centric values. In this role you will be responsible for marketing funeral insurance, savings plans and related products. You will also recruit funerals for the Funeral Division. Important application notes: You must comply with FAIS legislation for registration as a Fit and Proper individual. Depending on when you entered the industry, different NQF level 4 credit requirements apply. A full FAIS recognised qualification is required for those appointed from 2010 onwards. RE5 will be an advantage. Clear ITC credit record and clear criminal record are required.
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) and or tertiary education with 30 credits on NQF level 4
- Comply with FAIS legislation for registration as Fit and Proper individuals. Applicants who entered the industry from 2004 to 2007 require 30 credits on NQF 4 obtained by 31 December 2009. From 2008 to 2009 require 30 credits or 60 credits on NQF 4 obtained by 31 December 2011 or full FAIS recognised qualification obtained by 31 December 2013. All those appointed in the industry from 2010 onwards require a full FAIS recognised qualification
