About the role
This is a senior finance role with a well established organisation that supports the mining sector. Based in Brits, you will provide both operational and strategic financial leadership and partner closely with executives to drive business performance, profitability, governance and operational excellence.
What the day to day looks like:
- You will oversee the full finance and accounting function and lead monthly management reporting and financial analysis.
- You will prepare annual financial statements and statutory reports and make sure reporting is accurate and on time.
- You will manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning and working capital.
- You will get involved in operational finance, including inventory management, manufacturing costing and cost analysis, working with operational teams to improve efficiencies and margins.
- You will drive strong financial controls, governance and compliance, and support audit processes.
- You will lead, mentor and develop the finance team and build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- You will give strategic financial insights to support leadership decision making and recommend improvements across the business.

Requirements
- CA(SA) qualification is essential.
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of finance experience.
- Experience in manufacturing, mining, engineering, industrial or related sectors.
- Strong exposure to financial reporting and management accounting.
- Budgeting and forecasting experience.
- Cash flow management experience.
- Financial controls and governance experience.
- Manufacturing costing and inventory management exposure.
- Proven people management and leadership experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen with advanced financial analysis capabilities.
- Strong understanding of financial controls and compliance.
