About the role
Festive, one of South Africa's leading integrated poultry producers within the Astral Group, needs two storemen for their Engineering Store Department in the commercial division. In this role, you will be responsible for stock reconciliation, conducting daily cycle counts, stock takes and tracking aging or expiring stock.
What you will do:
- Assist the store controller with daily store admin tasks
- Capture issue notes into the ERP LN system daily
- Keep the stores clean and well organised in line with 20 Keys Level 4 standards
- Receive stock and non stock items following stores KPIs and Astral procedures
- Complete weekly and monthly stock takes on time and accurately
- Issue stock to internal customers correctly
- Maintain 20 Keys, HACCP and Risk Control standards

Requirements
- Grade 12
- At least 3 years experience in a stores environment
- Computer literate
- Fluent in English with excellent interpersonal skills
- Effective time management
- Willing to work shifts
Responsibilities
- Assist the store controller with daily store admin tasks
- Capture issue notes into the ERP LN system daily to keep stock transactions accurate
- Ensure proper housekeeping in line with 20 Keys Level 4 accredited standards
- Receive stock and non stock items following stores KPIs and Astral procedures
- Complete weekly and monthly stock takes timeously and accurately
- Issue stock to internal customers correctly as per stores KPIs and Astral procedures
- Conduct daily cycle counts and track aging or expiring stock
- Maintain 20 Keys, HACCP and Risk Control standards
- Reconcile stock to ensure accuracy
