Success Guide

This role is a solid fit for you if you have hands on welding experience and you are ready to step into an inspector and coordinator position. Make sure your CV clearly shows your SAIW Level 1 qualification and any ISO 3834 or internal audit exposure you have.

Before you apply, get a certified copy of your welding inspector certificate ready because it is essential and they will ask for it. In the interview, be prepared to talk about how you read engineering drawings, how you handle non conformances, and how you would stop production if a weld does not meet the standard. If you have worked with pressure vessels or food grade equipment, highlight that too.
