About the role
Dynamic Outlook is looking for results-driven External Sales Representatives to join their client's team in Johannesburg. This is a full-time, fixed term position with the possibility of becoming permanent. The role focuses on consultative external sales, client relationship management, and achieving monthly sales targets within the waste management industry, though experience in that sector is advantageous rather than essential.
What you will be doing:- Drive sales and identify new business opportunities while upselling products and services to existing clients.
- Maintain a structured external sales call cycle and build strong, lasting client relationships.
- Plan and schedule a full week of client appointments, site meetings, and follow ups.
- Prepare and generate quotations, costings, and supporting sales documentation.
- Follow up on quotations and client enquiries to convert opportunities into confirmed orders.
- Liaise with the RGM regarding sales progress and orders received.
- Submit accurate sales call sheets and reports to the Sales Manager, detailing client visits, movements, and travel.
- Coordinate with the Sales Manager regarding job scheduling, resource allocation, and execution of secured work.
- Follow up with stores and dispatch to ensure timely delivery of products to clients.
- Comply with company vehicle policies, including fuel usage, mileage recording, and vehicle maintenance.
- Maintain accurate vehicle checklists and usage records in consultation with the Fleet Controller and Sales Manager.
Requirements
- Matric certificate (Grade 12).
- Minimum of 2 years external sales experience with responsibility for achieving monthly sales targets.
- Experience in the waste management industry will be advantageous.
- Own reliable vehicle.
- Valid South African driver's licence.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and client relationship management skills.
- Excellent planning, organisational, and administrative abilities.
- Self-motivated, target-driven approach with the ability to work independently.

Benefits
Total monthly package of R35,000, performance bonus of R30,000 subject to applicable criteria, commission payable after achieving monthly sales target of R1.35 million subject to agreed commission structure
