Success Guide

Applying for this Events Lead role at a 5-star wine estate means you need to show you understand high-end hospitality. Tailor your CV to highlight specific event sales numbers, client types (weddings, conferences, corporate groups), and how you worked with F&B and front office teams. In your cover letter, mention why you want to work in the Cape Winelands and how you handle pressure during peak wedding season. If you have experience with hospitality systems like Opera or Micros, say so. Also, be ready to talk about a time you turned a difficult client around. Since location matters, make it clear you live in or near Somerset West or are genuinely planning to move. Good luck!
