Paracon is looking for an experienced ERP Business Analyst to join a 12 month independent contractor role in Centurion, Gauteng. You will support an ERP assessment and transformation programme, working with stakeholders across Finance, HR, Payroll, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics and IT. About the role
Our client is embarking on an ERP assessment and transformation programme and needs a skilled Business Analyst to help define the way forward. You will work closely with the ERP Project Manager, business stakeholders, IT teams and subject matter experts to understand current processes and shape future requirements.
What you will be doing:
- Plan and facilitate workshops with business and technical teams to gather requirements and understand pain points.
- Document current state and future state business processes across functions like Finance, HR, Payroll, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics and IT.
- Conduct ERP fit gap assessments, identifying where processes need to change, be configured, integrated or investigated further.
- Gather, analyse and document functional and non functional requirements, maintaining traceability and ensuring proper validation and approval.
- Identify data, reporting, integration and master data requirements to support the ERP roadmap.
- Support the development of the ERP business case, solution assessment and implementation roadmap.
- Prepare clear documentation, presentations and reports for project teams and senior management.

Requirements
- Solid experience as a Business Analyst within an ERP or enterprise transformation environment.
- Strong requirements elicitation and documentation experience.
- Proven business process mapping and analysis capability.
- Experience with ERP fit gap assessments.
- Strong stakeholder and workshop facilitation skills.
- Experience working across multiple business functions.
- JD Edwards or JDE experience would be highly advantageous.
- Manufacturing, supply chain or logistics experience would be beneficial.
- Business Analysis certification such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI PBA, BCS or equivalent would be advantageous.
