About the role
Life Healthcare Group is looking for a dedicated Enrolled Nurse to join their hospital team in Johannesburg. You will work across specialised wards including Gynaecology, Urology, Vascular and Surgical, providing quality nursing care to patients before and after procedures.
In this role you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that supports patients through their hospital journey. You will assist with daily patient care, monitor vital signs, support wound care and help patients recover comfortably. You will also work closely with Registered Nurses and doctors to ensure each patient receives safe and compassionate care.

Requirements
- Registered as an Enrolled Nurse with the South African Nursing Council (SANC)
- Completed an Enrolled Nurse qualification
- Experience in a hospital or clinical setting, particularly in surgical or specialised wards, is advantageous
- Strong patient care and observation skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Compassion, patience and attention to detail
- Willingness to work shifts as required in a hospital environment
Responsibilities
- Provide quality nursing care to patients in the Gynae, Urology, Vascular and Surgical wards
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs and general condition
- Assist patients with personal care, mobility and daily activities
- Support wound care and post operative recovery under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
- Administer medication as prescribed and within your scope of practice
- Communicate patient concerns and changes in condition to the nursing team and doctors
- Maintain accurate patient records and uphold hospital safety and hygiene standards
- Work shifts as required to ensure continuous patient care
