Overview
Isibani Development Partners is looking for an Enrolled Nurse Assistant to step into a Team Lead role on their Global Fund TB/HIV programme in Ekurhuleni. As a sub recipient for the Global Fund TB/HIV programme in Ekurhuleni, they need an Enrolled Nurse Assistant Team Lead to support community level TB screening and care.
What the role involves:
- Guide and support Treatment Support Officers (TSOs) in their daily work
- Make sure all clients are screened for TB at community level
- Ensure sputum is collected on the spot from clients who need testing
- Follow up on clients to confirm they are successfully linked to care
- Work closely with the TB Clinical Nurse Mentor and district teams
- Help keep service delivery running smoothly across Ekurhuleni sub districts
Requirements
- Registered as an Enrolled Nurse Assistant
- Experience working with TB or HIV programmes will be an advantage
- Confidence to lead and support a small team of Treatment Support Officers
- Good communication skills to work with clients and health facility staff
- Organised and reliable in tracking client screening and follow ups
- Able to work at community and sub district level in Ekurhuleni
- Willing to work on a fixed term contract until 31 March 2028
Responsibilities
